2009 Legislative Reception
In connection with the 15th Annual Legislative Conference of the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Our Legislative Reception proved to be a huge success! On Tuesday, May 12 over 100 individuals embraced the opportunity to shake hands and mingle with local legislators and delegates at the Capitol. As a result of this reception, County Board of Supervisor Roberta McGlashen has decided to involve the Chamber in her budget committee. Additionally, Mayor Kevin Johnson has committed to partnering with the Chamber for our next reception.
The SHCC is proud to create change in the Hispanic community by hosting events such as the Legislative Reception.
