Ambassadors act as a liaison to facilitate the member’s access and understanding of the chamber’s strategic scope of work in order to serve our mission. They also assist in recruiting and retaining members. Applications for the Ambassador program are accepted year-round.
The Membership Committee develops and drives strategies to grow and retain Chamber membership. The committee works to ensure that members feel the value of their investment and seek to find opportunities that keep members actively engaged in the networking, education, and advocacy programs offered through the Chamber. Contact Mike Rogers, Vice Chair of Membership, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Legislative Committee is responsible for monitoring and developing business advocacy initiatives in the local community and the state of California. It also stays on top of issues that impact our business owners. The Legislative Committee addresses issues including public policy, ordinances, zoning, budgets, ballot measures, licensing/permits, etc. It also focuses on state legislative issues. Contact Marcus Gomez, Vice Chair of Advocacy, email@example.com
The SHCC has maintained as one its core values, the need to provide support, mentoring and scholarships for youth and business professionals in the Greater Sacramento region.
