NETWORKING
Business Networking Mixer
One of the SHCC’s more popular events, our Business Networking Mixers are meant to help you meet new contacts and cultivate relationships with people you’ve met at previous events. This event is also open to non-members, so bring your business colleagues for drinks and appetizers.
Power Networking
Members spend a short amount of time creating leads for each other. Participants from different industries come together to expand their networking outreach and leave with twenty (20) to twenty-five (25) leads.
New Member Orientation
We have so many great networking events and forums each month that it’s easy to feel a little lost. Our New Member Orientation is a great place for members to learn about various opportunities within the chamber. We provide details on the most effective ways to get connected so even if you’re not a “new” member, consider attending!
Alliance Mixer
While it’s not likely you’ve met every member in the SHCC, our Alliance Mixers are a great way to expand your network by meeting members in the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce and the Black Chamber of Commerce. This exciting event is an opportunity to meet and mingle, while learning about keys to business success from one of our featured sponsors.
Lunch and Learns
Looking for ways to immediately increase your business? The SHCC hosts these informative two hour sessions that teach you how to gain access to contracts you may have not known existed. Learn how the bid and proposal process works from procurement specialists from SMUD and the City of Sacramento and hear about upcoming opportunities your business can capitalize on.
Annual Business Awards & Recognition Gala
As the largest SHCC fundraiser, this event inspires involvement from all SHCC members. The Banquet is held in February and recognizes outstanding SHCC members and community leaders who have contributed to the betterment of the Chamber and the Hispanic Community
Annual Legislative Reception
Members receive an opportunity to speak with local legislators during an exclusive meeting at the State Capitol. Over one hundred attendees discuss pressing needs for the region and brainstorm new ways for Sacramento to thrive.
Annual State of the Hispanic Community
The Hispanic market represents the largest minority segment and its growth is inspiring. As we approach major population shifts in our region due to Latino growth, it is important that the regional leadership anticipate this growth and factor it into long term planning. The purpose of this event is to help regional leadership be well informed as they plan for a prosperous future.
