Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The Mission of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is to maximize the success of our members’ businesses through networking, advocacy and education.
SHCC Standing Committees
Membership
The purpose and goal of the Membership Committee
is to increase
membership and retain existing members which is monitored
and reported monthly to the board of directors. Outreach and
education is also developed in order to provide business owners
practical seminars. The committee also reviews, evaluate, and
changes current business categories along with associated rates
in order to increase membership value.
Ambassador Program
Ambassadors are confident and committed individuals
who provide
value to the chamber. They act as a liaison to facilitate
the member’s access and understanding of the Chamber’s strategic
scope of work in order to serve our mission. Ambassadorship can also
be an
essential part of your marketing plan. One of the major benefits
of
being an Ambassador is that it provides an opportunity
to offer your services which can become a resource to our
members. By doing this you will
develop business relationships which in return can increase your
bottom line.

and community leaders who have contributed to the betterment of
the Chamber and the Hispanic Community.

provide support, mentoring and scholarships for the youth in the
Greater Sacramento region. It is estimated that the chamber has given
over $500,000 in scholarships over the years. Today, the number
and amount of scholarships continues to increase due to the
generous contributions from corporations, foundations, business
owners and individuals. The SHCC committee meets to review and
select the recipients along with preparation of our annual
scholarship dinner where we honor the scholarship recipients.
